Win A Disney Interactive Studios Gift Bag
Last night I took my sons to hang out at West Hollywood's hottest lounge, Coco De Ville. Par-tay!
Oh, wait, you're wondering what kind of mother I am, taking my kids to a club on a school night?
Don't worry! It was the Disney Interactive Studios holiday video game showcase. Instead of the usual industry posers and girls inskanky outfits mini-dresses, the club was transformed into a Disney gaming paradise, complete with ginormous flat screen TVs hooked up to video game consoles, a cotton candy machine, mini burgers and fries, and plenty of games that my boys went positively bananas over.
My youngest enjoyed the new Princess and the Frog game while my eldest bravely jumped into karaoke for the first time with Disney Sing It Pop Hits. I couldn't believe Mr. Reserved was up there trying to sing a Jonas Brothers song in front of a crowd of people! He sure was taking the mic seriously!
When he was really warmed up, he actually asked, "Do they have any Green Day on this game?"
Does this mean I have a teenage rock band in my future?
Anyway, hands down their favorite games they tried last night were the new Toy Story Mania and also Spectrobes: Origins, both for Nintendo Wii. I didn't try Spectrobes but I played the Toy Story game with my youngest and loved it. The part of the game where you break dishes was my favorite. Nowhere else can I break dishes and get rewarded for it!
The nice thing is I can break dishes at home now, too, because Disney was nice enough to send us home with a little gift bag. Inside were copies of both Toy Story Mania AND Spectrobes Origins (for the Wii)! My sons were cheering and jumping around like CRAZY! There are also some other goodies in there like a Spectrobes excavation kit (they each did one after school today), a Jonas Brothers mouse pad, a TinkerBell Light-Up Projector and some cute Princess and the Frog measuring spoons.
Would you like to win a Disney Interactive gift bag?

Again, good luck!

My favorite Disney character... That's tough. I think it's a tie between Ariel and Dash from The Incredibles.
