A Los Angelista Giveaway: Free Style with Corbin Bleu
Both my sons are big Corbin Bleu fans - and both think he's the real start of High School Musical, not that Zac what's-his-face! But as good as Corbin is in HSM, it's nice to see him branching out past that series, but still not crossing over into the non-family friendly flicks. In Free Style Bleu plays a teen named Cale Bryant who decides he wants to be a professional motocross racer. Yep, Corbin Bleu as a motocross racer... one of my sons was sold on this film solely from the description.
Of course, Cale has to persevere through challenges and keep himself motivated. The film isn't Oscar material but it's a totally feel-good flick, and I liked the example Cale (Corbin) set by holding on to his dreams.
I'd say this film is best for tweens - but then again, my six year-old loved it because of the motocross angle. Want to win your own copy for movie night? Good, because I have three copies for some lucky Los Angelista readers!
