I'm the "Happiest Girl" Since I'm Going to Dance to Depeche Mode

Um, yeah. The addict is about to get her fix.

Oh yes. In a couple of hours I'll be at The Grand Star Jazz Club dancing to Depeche Mode. Hopefully I'll hear one of those great remixes of my Depeche Mode Song of the Day, "Happiest Girl".

My favorite part? When Dave Gahan sings, "And I would have to pinch her/Just to see that she was real/Just to watch the smile fade away/See the pain she'd feel."

This is not an official video if you want to take a listen, but it really fits the song:

Hope you all have a lovely Saturday night. And, like the song asks, why do you smile the smile you do?

DJBA,
You're so right. I really am lucky. If I lived somewhere else, I highly doubt I'd be getting in all the Depeche fun like this.

MDC,
Did I ever! :) Wish I could do it every weekend.

Jess,
LOL! I had a moment there though where I wondered if I'll be doing this kind of stuff in another 10 or 20 years. I really don't know.

Jameil,
Let's see how long this "fix" lasts me. :)

Hey, That's Bettie Page!

Glad you had a good time!

Sundry,
Yes, it's from a movie about her that came out a year or two ago called, "The Notorious Bettie Page". I haven't seen it yet but I want to. I find her life story really interesting and this Depeche song really fits the footage from the movie quite well.
