Little Treasures
One of the best things about living in Los Angeles is that it can be the middle of November but you are going to always be able to go to a park with lush green grass and flowers still blooming. You also don't have to wear a heavy winter coat. I took Olinga and Toussaint to Griffith Park last Sunday and we had a fabulous time playing on the swings and slides and riding the old-fashioned merry-go-round. I was reminded that kids are very easy to please. It's only the adults that try to make everything so complicated. We spend about an hour running in an open field, throwing sticks, playing "tackle mommy" and digging in the dirt. I really think that's where they had the most fun.
Olinga also took this picture of me during our outing. He really enjoys taking pictures and I'm so busy being the one behind the camera that I rarely get photos of myself. I think my little boy has talent...or else I just have a huge ego...because I think I look halfway decent!
