On Saturday and Sunday--this weekend--Orange County will host the inaugural Playground Festival, a two-day gathering of some of the hottest acts in music--The Game, Panic! At the Disco, Shiny Toy Guns, The Bravery, New Boyz, Lil Jon, The Cataracts, Mickey Avalon, Big Sean, Fishbone and more than 250 other rock, hip-hop, rap, reggae, pop and electronic stars and local artists--all performing on 10 stages.

And if that isn't enough, there's also a laser-tag arena, carnival rides, food trucks, DJ competitions, live art...essentially it's gonna be a good time. It's all hosted by Nick Cannon--no word on whether he's bringing Mariah and the twins with him. I mean, the event is all-ages, but c'mon now, you don't want to take a baby to this!

To Enter the Los Angelista Playground Festival Giveaway:
- You must live in Southern California and have your own transportation to the show.
- Leave a brief comment (no essays, please!) by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on Thursday September 1, 2011 telling me what band you want to see most.
- Make sure comment has a name and your email. If you are anonymous and I can't tell who you are, your comment entries will be disqualified.
- I'll pick two winners from all qualifying entries using a randomizer, and post it on Friday, September 2, 2011. If the winner doesn't contact me by noon, I'll choose another winner.
