Powering Out
Man oh man I just finished a HUGE freak-out. We lost power here in L.A. and this was definitely not the thing that needed to happen the day after September 11th and the day after that crazy tape was aired on ABC with the guy threatening to destroy us and Melbourne, Australia.
Our phones went dead. Cell phones were useless because all the networks were busy. I couldn't reach Elarryo or Nelly to see how the kids were doing. I'm so grateful that I wasn't stuck on the elevator here in our building. Good grief. That would have been awful.
It does make you think though...what if something serious did happen here in L.A.? The horror could make New Orleans look like child's play.
