Channel Surfing

It's too much TV in the Dwyer-Bolden household. Here's today's rundown:

  • 10:00 - Viewing Redwall on PBS. Love those medieval mice. If you have never seen this show, make it a priority! I'm in love with Matthias!
  • 10:30 - Spiderman on ABC Family.
  • 1:00 - Fellowship of the Ring viewing in the living room and Prince of Egypt for the kids in the bedroom.
  • 10:30 pm - Meet the Press rerun with Dick Durbin from my home state of Illinois and a roundtable on the Roberts supreme court nomination.
  • 11:00 pm - Elarryo is channel surfing...

Anti-tv options:

Exercise: I am feeling like I need to get more exercise. So, of course, my mind jumps to the most ambitious thing I could possibly attempt, doing the Los Angeles Marathon. I'm considering doing LA Leggers training for the 2006 marathon. It starts this coming weekend, the 30th. I'd have to drive out to Santa Monica every Saturday morning. (laziness factor) This coming Saturday is the orientation run where they clock how long it will take you to run a mile. I tried to do the Leggers about 4 years ago and dropped out after 6 weeks. It's a big time commitment, having to go run every Saturday out at the beach and then running 3-4 times a week.

Talking: Well, we do have a bit of a commentary going about the MSNBC investigates report on some tv show talker, Bob Crane. I guess he was a swinger.

Blogging: I'm taking advantage of that option...but I think I'll go to bed.
