I did the SAME thing a few months a...OMIGAWD!!!!!!<br /><br />I did the SAME thing a few months ago in an mild argument with my sweetie when he told me he wished I would recognize he's been through some things in his life & give his wisdom and experience a little more weight... I reminded him that 36 years old, I had been through some things too, and he is barely four years older than I.<br /><br />It wasn't until the next day that I realized I wouldn't turn 36 until December.<br /><br />I usually answer a question with a clarifying question... "what do you mean?" or "why do you ask" so I get the background for context.
